2 tablespoons of half&half
1 tablespoon of sugar
a pinch of salt
2 tsp peppermint flavoring

In a sauce pan, heat together the milk, half&half, sugar, salt, and peppermint flavoring, stirring with a whisk until frothy. In a coffee cup, melt the chocolate chips by pouring the hot coffee over the top and stirring. When milk mixture is ready, pour into the coffee cup and enjoy!

Molten Cocolate Cupcake

Yum! I absolutely love these cupcakes!!!! So creamy, so... so... awesome :) Make sure you dont over-cook it, or it will just be a cupcake, and you dont want just a cupcake, you want a freakishly awesome cupcake!

1 cup unsalted butter or unsalted margarine
8 ounces semisweet chocolate chips, or bars, cut into bite-size chunks
5 large eggs
1/2 cup sugar
Pinch of salt
4 teaspoons flour

  1. Melt butter and chocolate in a medium heat-proof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water; remove from heat. Beat eggs, sugar and salt with a hand mixer in a medium bowl until sugar dissolves. Beat egg mixture into chocolate until smooth. Beat in flour or matzo meal until just combined. (Batter can be made a day ahead; return to room temperature an hour or so before baking.)
  2. Before serving dinner, adjust oven rack to middle position; heat oven to 450 degrees. Line a standard-size muffin tin (1/2 cup capacity) with 8 extra-large muffin papers (papers should extend above cups to facilitate removal). Spray muffin papers with vegetable cooking spray. Divide batter among muffin cups.
  3. Bake until batter puffs but center is not set, 8 to 10 minutes. Carefully lift cakes from tin and set on a work surface. Pull papers away from cakes and transfer
  4. Garnish with powdered sugar and enjoy to your hearts content!

Dad's Sausage Recipe

So, this recipe, is absolutely the best. Now, dad's recipes are very unique, because they are ALWAYS different every time without fail. So take that as a warning, as I'm guessing the measurements and all. Also remember that this "recipe" feeds 7 hungry people with a little extra. Hope y'all will use it at some point!

2 tbsp. salted butter
1 large red onion
2 tbsp yummy garlic :)
2 packages of turkey kielbasa sausage
4 tbsp. spicy mustard
4 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 cups of rice ( we use brown rice, but personally, I love white rice)
4 cups of hot water

Start the rice first. (You know, rice and water, heat up till boiling, turn down the temp, cover, until the water is gone)
While the rice is cooking:
Slice the red onion so you have these long, thin strips of onion. Melt the butter in a large pan, and saute the onions and garlic till the onions are soft and tender. Cut up the sausage, and add them, the Worcestershire sauce, and the mustard into the onions. Heat on low, about 10 minutes or until the rice is done.
"Slap on" the rice on a plate, pile on sausage, put a couple of drops of soy sauce (come on now, I don't care what else you put on rice, soy sauce goes on rice no matter what!) and enjoy to your hearts content!

The best Chocolate Chip Cookies EVER!

This recipe, I have to say... Is one of the best chocolate chip cookie recipe I've had. Not only does it have chocolate chips (of course) in it, but also peanut butter and oatmeal. What could be better?!
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. rolled oats
1 c. semi sweet chocolate chips

1: Preheat oven to 350
2: In a medium bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. stir in peanut butter, vanilla, and egg until well blended. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into batter just until moistened. Mix in the oats and chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoons onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
3: Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until edges start to brown. Cool on wire racks for 5 minutes, then enjoy!
